Best known for producing the Academy Award–winning The Usual Suspects, Kokin’s career has been anything but ordinary. Over the course of three decades, he has excelled as a producer, director, executive, and consultant, bringing his signature vision to projects as diverse as The Way of the Gun, Mortdecai, Captain Abu Raed, and Blood Moon. Today, he channels that same creative energy into the future of storytelling as a founder and Chief Creative Officer of Plotdot, the groundbreaking leader in AI-driven narrative innovation.

EXECUTIVE

Kokin headed development & production and was on the team with a $500m deal with NBCUniversal, totaling $4.32B in Box Office. At NBCUniversal, he designed initiatives with Working Title, Monkeypaw, and TIFF for emerging and underrepresented writers and directors.

With his hands-on approach, Kokin can take a sketch of an idea and craft an incredible theatrical experience. His works have won over 100 awards, including two Oscar wins.

DIRECTOR

A filmmaker since his teens, his films include the festival opener, BLOOD MOON (written by Oscar-nominated Nicholas Kazan), the award-winning documentary that launched TOMS Shoes to a $625m valuation, extensive second-unit, and a PBS classical music series.

When an entrepreneur decided to donate a pair of shoes for each one sold, Kenneth Kokin documented TOMS Shoes' first shoe drop. The founder credits this documentary as pivotal in building a company valued at over $600 million.
